Hello, this is Hamaca.
I am traveling with my second son, Inosho, from Fez, Morocco to the Blue City Shaouen by CTM Bus.

Bus from Fez to Siaouen

The reserved seats on the CTM Bus from Fez to Siawen are at the front of the train, so the view is great.
However, it is very cold because there is no heating.
So, both driver and passengers can’t give up their overs.

A short drive from Fez leads to the breadbasket region, where agricultural vehicles drive on public roads.
The driver would watch out for the time and pass on a narrow road.
It was a ride that made me feel like I was living in the car, but the driver was a master at what he did.
We gradually approached the “Blue City of Shaouen” with a restroom break on the way.
By the way, in Morocco, you are often asked for coins when you use the restroom.
So, it is essential to have coins ready when you take a restroom break.
Restaurants in the Blue City of Shaouen

Shaouen, the blue city, has a nice restaurant with blue as the main color.
There, we ordered a Moroccan dish of fish tagine with small sardines, couscous, salad and mixed juice.
And the fish tajine is full of small sardines and is very savory and delicious.
GUEST HOUSE in the blue city of Shaouen

The GUEST HOUSE was located directly above the restaurant up the hill.
The GUEST HOUSE is located amidst a row of souvenir shops.

The room is a 2 bedroom + small room in blue.
It is a wonderful space where you can relax as if you were in your own home.
And for my oil heater lover, there were two oil heaters in the room.
Thanks to them, I was warm and slept soundly.
Colorful flowerpots

The blue city of Shaouen has many slopes, and you will walk up and down hills and stroll through the city, which is colored blue here and there.
Sometimes the color blue is soothing and makes me feel calm.
And colorful flowerpots were neatly arranged and hung in the middle of the slopes.
Djerba, a folk costume unique to Morocco

I bought a jade, a winter jacket worn by the locals, which I wanted at a souvenir shop in the blue city!
First of all, I gathered information by trying it on and asking about the price whenever I was approached.
This was to avoid losing the psychological strategy that stores encourage you to try on the clothes, and that if you try them on, you will be tempted to buy them.
Finally, I was able to buy a wool jade 650 MAD (about 9,500 yen) for 200 MAD (2,900 yen).
Now, I can beat the wind and cold of Morocco.
