Today I am talking about my hometown “Kitahiroshima-cho Oasa” in the snow.
Kitahiroshima-cho Oasa
Kitahiroshima-cho Oasa is located in the northwestern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, northeast of Kitahiroshima-cho and on the border with Shimane Prefecture.
It is an area rich in nature, spreading out like a plateau on a plain at an altitude of around 400 meters.
As a town, it is the largest municipality in the Chugoku region.
In the area, you can see a colony of Japanese knotweed, a national natural treasure and the town tree of Kitahiroshima Town, as well as many tourist resources that make the most of the natural environment, such as hot springs.
This is the view from the bus waiting room at Oasa Mobility Station.
The Trans-Chugoku Expressway Hiroshima-Hamada line runs through Oasa, and by using the Oasa Interchange, you can reach the center of Hiroshima City in about one hour.
Snow removal from sidewalks
No one can walk on not only the roadways but even the sidewalks unless the snow is removed.
We can only be thankful for the early morning snow removal.
